Course Introduction

Inspired and driven by China's Global   Development Initiative presented at the 76th United Nations General Assembly,   this summer school course focuses on the global communication of Sustainable   Development Goals (SDGs). Supported and funded by Wuhan University and Duke   Kunshan University, this course sets out to integrate global communication   and sustainable development practices. Participants will engage in an   intensive 3-week study featuring lectures by world renowned scholars and   professionals, and experiential learning facilitated by onsite visits and   tours.


Objective


1. Theoretical Study: Scholars from domestic and international institutions will lecture on topics related to Global Communication for Sustainable Development.

2. Real-world Challenges: Classroom discussions and case studies will explore challenges and potential solutions in global communication for sustainable development.

3. Experiential Learning: Site visits around Wuhan and other cities will provide insights into China's sustainable development experiences. Participants will engage in journalistic reporting guided by professionals.
