Course Introduction |
Since 1960’s the first satellite launched, the world has started exploration of space for the benefit of human beings. Communications and broadcasting have be the main services and applications provided by satellites. Today, Satellite communication systems become important parts of future communications for 5G/6G and beyond. This course provide introduction to satellite communications systems related to the theories and fundamentals.

Objective |
The objectives are to teach students the fundamental theories and technologies and to design satellite communication links to the user given a specified quality of service (QoS). The service may be audio, video, data, multimedia, Broadband Internet services, etc. In addition, this course will get students to appreciate the development of satellite technologies and to understand the roles of satellites to play in the future communication systems and networks. |
